About Our School
Where Dreams Begin
Here at Christina Learning Center we are committed to providing a safe, secure, loving and learning environment. We realize it’s a tremendous responsibility and we accept this responsibility with love and open arms. We believe giving your child a head start on learning is the key to your child’s academic, social and spiritual success. It is our mission to help their little minds grow to think, learn and be the best they can be. Christina Learning Center exists to support parents and guardians in your child’s journey to success. We offer an environment that is safe, fun and exciting, filled with lots of love and laughter. We encourage learning through play using a curriculum that allows hands on activities and games that can be easily adapted. We believe the strength of our program is determined by the strength of our teachers.

Infant
Our infant program provides a high level of personalized care. Each child has a dedicated crib with a daily schedule for eating, sleeping, and play that aligns with their home schedule. While napping, our teachers conduct safe sleep checks every 15 minutes. Our teachers also encourage and foster communication through the use of sign language and verbal cues.
Toddler
Our toddlers program offers a more structured day compared to infants, helping to build healthy routines for children. Dedicated meal, nap, and play times are combined with outdoor activities, music, language enrichment, and other teacher-led activities. Children are also given free choice play that encourages interacting with other children.
Preschool
We develop a positive self-image by encouraging independent thinking, developing problem solving skills, and enabling children to be successful in accomplishing developmentally appropriate tasks set for them.We enhance social and emotional development by furthering the development of respect for human dignity and the rights of others.We expand early concepts, improve communication skills, stimulate interest in the natural world and encourage creativity.We involve parents and families in the young child’s learning experiences.We provide a learning environment that is in keeping with the standards set in the Early Childhood Rating Scale (CLASS).We provide educational opportunities in a developmentally appropriate manner in compliance with the Louisiana département of education that will prepare children for kindergarten.

Inspiration Station is our newly opened Preschool & Afterschool location located at 103 1st Duson La 70529 (one block from Christina Learning Center in Duson)

OUR STELLAR REVIEWS
My now 6-year-old has been going to Christina’s Learning Center since he was 8 weeks old. At first, we were super nervous but they quickly calmed our nerves. The owners and all the teachers are the absolute best! They are always there for any questions you have or anything you need and they treat him like he’s one of their own kids. I loved dropping him off and they would give my oldest a breakfast plate before I brought him school, or picking him up and them telling me “Let me tell you what Lyam did today”. The things they have taught him is just mind blowing. Before the age of 2 he was singing songs about the states, knew all his colors, how to count, and the entire alphabet. He tested well above his grade level during his kindergarten testing and I owe it all to them. My husband and I could not recommend this place more than we already do.
